Important Dates

  • Owners who wish to continue ownership of their franchise must notify the Commish of their intent by March 1.
  • An open recruitment period shall exist from March 1 through April 1 to fill all open ownership positions.
  • League Dues are due April 1st
  • July 15th is the deadline to select your 7 Keepers
  • Trade Deadline is the Wednesday in between Week 10 and 11
  • The Draft will be held sometime between Aug. 20 and Aug. 25 each year depending on what time works best for everyone.
  • Super Bowl Sunday is the last day to move anyone from the IR to the active roster.

Replacement Owners

  • If a team leaves the league, a new owner will be selected and will take over the team as is at that time, including rosters, keepers, draft picks, etc. All finances of the team will remain (thus no refunds to any owner leaving early). The Commish maintains a waiting list and will use this to find replacement owners. An owner may not sell or otherwise change the ownership of his/her team without Commish approval. If an owner wishes to leave, the team becomes property of the league and the Commish will find a new owner.
  • In the event that two or more members leave the league. We will conduct a dispersal draft. The players and draft picks will be pooled together and the new owners will draft their team from this pool of players and draft picks.

Draft

  • The League will hold a draft annually. Only players not on a teams keeper list will be eligible to be selected in the draft.
  • The draft will be 9 rounds and it will be NFL style. The base order will be determined on prior year final week 13 standings. The Super Bowl winner will pick 12th. Any ties will be broken with the same rules as the AFL wild card tiebreakers.
  • During the NIT teams can potentially earn a higher draft pick, each team is awarded points based on their base draft position. The team with the worst record gets 12 points to start all the way down to the conference champion down at 1 point.
  • The top 5 finishers in the NIT will receive an additional 1.5pts. The 1st round will then be reordered based on the amount of points each team finishes with. The team with the higher original draft position will win the higher draft position in the event of any ties. Below is an example of how it could look. (Playoff teams are always seeded 9-12)

    1. The Nukes 12pts (2-16)
    2. Drunk Indians 11pts (4-14)
    3. The Rookies 9.5pts (6-12)
    4. Muck Juggling Micks 9.5pts (6-12)
    5. Blitzkrieg 8pts (7-11)
    6. The Street 7pts (8-10)
    7. Gamecocks 5.5pts (10-8)
    8. Fullybaked 5.5pts (10-8)
    9. 420 All-Stars 4pts (12-4) (Playoff Team)
    10. Smokane 3pts (13-3) (Playoff Team)
    11. Marriedwithchildren 2pts (14-2) (Playoff Team)
    12. Chatmaster 1pts (Conference Champ regardless of record)

Keepers

  • Teams will keep 7 players each year and must cut their roster town each offseason by July 15th
  • In the event that an owner fails to meet the keeper deadline, said owner will have their keeper limit reduced to 6 and will be given a compensatory draft pick at 9.13
